Year 5s from Norton Primary Academy, what a pleasure to work with you on the latest World of Work day at AV Dawson funded by TVCA. You were absolutely incredible and your enthusiasm levels were off the scale! I feel like we certainly have some young coders with a bright career ahead of them! It was also fabulous to hear from many of the children who talked about what their parents did, in companies they could see from the views from the balcony and across the Tees Valley. We even had the chance to look in the employee lounge and really get an idea of what the world of work feels like in a real setting.
As usual, the children and staff had the opportunity to explore a virtual map of the Tees Valley area and then use Dash robots to solve challenges through code.
