It is always a pleasure to work with Year 5 from Sacred Heart Primary on our TVCA funded ‘World of Work at your Feet’ day in the brand new AV Dawson HQ on the riverside.
The children were so enthusiastic and excited to learn to code our Dash robots as well as find out about companies in the Tees Valley area. Their questioning skills even kept me on my toes as they wanted to truly understand what they could see around them at the port. They also jumped straight into the tasks gleaning information from our interactive voyage about a variety of different businesses in the area.
It was clear from the feedback that the children had (in just one day) retained an incredible amount of information which they were able to articulate in our group discussion!
