We are thrilled to announce the selection of our final Power of Women (PoW) ambassadors! During our recent Spark sessions at Pallister Park Primary School, we had the privilege of working with a group of passionate and driven young minds. These pupils jumped headfirst into conversations about equal opportunities, breaking down gender stereotypes, and paving the way for a brighter, more inclusive future.

From the very start, their energy and commitment to the cause were palpable. As part of the PoW campaign and the Primary School Ambassador Program, these young changemakers voiced big dreams and bold ideas. They reminded us of Teesside’s incredible potential—a place where children can achieve greatness and thrive.

Our discussions ranged from challenging gender stereotypes in sports to recognising the unique strengths that both male and female players bring to the pitch. We also explored the importance of self-reflection. Using the PoW application form, each pupil took time to identify their passions, strengths, and ambitions, tying them to their hopes for future careers.

A key part of the ambassador selection process involved giving the pupils a real-world taste of an interview. We were honored to have Jill Fiden from Thirteen Group and Jane Xing from Johnson Matthey join our panel. The pupils confidently stepped into the interview room, presenting their ideas and sharing their aspirations with conviction.

With so many exceptional candidates, choosing just a few ambassadors was no easy task! Every child brought something special to the table, making the final decisions both challenging and heartwarming.

Our time at Pallister Park Primary was nothing short of inspiring. These vibrant young leaders left a lasting impression. As they step into their roles as PoW ambassadors, we’re confident they will continue to champion equality, challenge stereotypes, and inspire others to do the same. The future is bright with these young changemakers leading the way!
